Now-a-days, with so much technology and good prices on equipment, SIR GIANT decided to dedicate some of his time and invest money to another area he always loved: music production! Because he’s the type of musician who is making music everyday and he can’t use all of his ideas on his solo-project, he decided to start making other types of music for other artists to use. So in 2010 he designed and built his own website (another one of his many abilities is web and graphic designing) with some of his productions for other artists and producers to listen to. That’s how his new website was born: www.sirgiant.com, where he uploads all his music and updates, some of them just ideas, cause he prefers to upload all of them and just work on a specific song when someone is interested on it.

He launched and produced the first single of the portuguese artist, Pedro Cardoso, who went to “Ídolos” (portuguese version of “American Idol” or “Britain’s Got Talent”), called “Forget Our Troubles”. The original song consisted only of rhythm guitar and vocals so SIR GIANT added all the other instruments, arrangements, mixed and mastered it.

He also began working on reggae and dancehall riddims (different artists sing on top of the same instrumental song), releasing his first reggae one called “Jungle Fever Riddim” as a free download. Many more on the way…

His main goal as a producer is to make music everyday, no matter what type. Because he’s also a musician and not just a producer, his style became unique, based on his background of rock, reggae, punk, etc. Many artists and producers referred to his productions as easily recognized especially because they are based on a rhythmic construction, due to his 20 years experience as a drummer.
